Three Pages From My Current Sketchbook

Hello all, 😘 sending you well wishes!

These three painted pages are from my current sketchbook, which I started in January 2020.

I filled in the pages of this book with simple line work scenes and abstract sketches using black marker pen. Now I'm in the process of finishing the book by filling in the best ones with watercolor. Creating is an enjoyable way to de-stress and re-center the mind and spirit, so it contributes to good health. 💪 Here's what we got so far:

First is a triumphant being with arms outstretched, victorious, despite mostly dark surroundings. Prepare to take flight!

Next is a lively abstract scene. Lots of movement and color, hustle and bustle. This page was done 'fast and dirty'. Forgot to get the "before" on this one.

Finally, another colorful page, perhaps less busy. It has a feeling of connection to "real world" imagery with the leafy shapes.
