Saludos queridos amigos de esta comunidad, en este día iniciando la semana, muchas bendiciones y salud para todos, me encuentro ya un poco nerviosa porque se acerca el día de la cirugía de mi pequeño hijo.

Greetings dear friends of this community, on this day starting the week, many blessings and health to all, I am already a little nervous because the day of my little son's surgery is approaching.

Ya lo he llevado a las consultas médicas en el Centro Pediátrico Fundación Lala, y el medico cirujano tratante indico que tenía una condición llamada criptorquidia o testículo no descendido, que había que esperar si el testículo descendía a su lugar correcto, al pasar el tiempo, el medico indica hacerle un ultrasonido testicular para verificar su posición.

I have already taken him to the medical consultations at the Fundación Lala Pediatric Center, and the treating surgeon indicated that he had a condition called cryptorchidism or undescended testicle, that he had to wait if the testicle descended to its correct place, over time, the doctor indicates to do a testicular ultrasound to verify its position.

Al tener la imagen del ultrasonido el medico la revisa y me indica que se le tiene que hacer una cirugía al niño. Fuimos a varias consultas con médicos especialistas en las áreas de pediatra, cirujía y la anestesiólogo que fue la última consulta, ya realizado todos sus exámenes médicos y placa de tórax, de ahí indicaron la fecha para la cirugía la cual es el día miércoles trece de Abril.

Upon having the ultrasound image, the doctor reviews it and tells me that the child has to undergo surgery. We went to several consultations with medical specialists in the areas of pediatrics, surgery and the anesthesiologist who was the last consultation, having already carried out all his medical exams and chest X-ray, from there they indicated the date for the surgery which is Wednesday the thirteenth of April.

El médico cirujano me explicó que era una operación ambulatoria, si Dios quiere todo salga bien le dan de alta ese mismo día, de verdad es un poco difícil la situación, es mi bebé y confiando en Dios como le dije al principio.

El médico anestesiólogo indico realizar un día antes de la operación, es decir el día martes 12 de Abril hacerle una prueba del covid, un hisopado, dicen que eso es incomodo, pero es necesario para presentarlo antes de la intervención quirúrgica, y aún no sé el costo real de esa prueba, y bueno así ha sido todo, no es fácil para mí económicamente.

The anesthesiologist indicated to carry out a day before the operation, that is, on Tuesday, April 12, to do a covid test, a swab, they say that it is uncomfortable, but it is necessary to present it before the surgical intervention, and I still don't know the real cost of that test, and well that's how everything has been, it's not easy for me financially.
