North Pole at the Pub!

It wasn't the day to sit outside at my village pub. Sometimes, it's good to sit in the fresh air when it's a sunny day, even in the winter. Unfortunately, it was peeing it down today. It didn’t look very Christmassy outside, either.

It was a nice surprise, though, that the North Pole had arrived inside. It wasn't very busy and for a while we had the place to ourselves.

Unfortunately, they don't offer any dairy free milk, so I had a black americano. I'm not sure why they don't cater for people who don't want cow's milk these days. My friend had a latte. The waitress coughed and spluttered all over us. I held my breath for a while, as I didn't want to catch any colds before Christmas, thank you very much.

We also ordered chips with gravy and peas. My chips were so hot that I couldn't eat them for a while. I needed an asbestos mouth to tolerate the heat. In fact, there was so much steam coming off them they steamed up my spectacles!

Apart from all that, I enjoyed my visit to the pub! Happy Christmas/Happy Holidays to the #cinnamoncupcoffee team. ☕️☃️❄️🎄
