Coffee, Cake and Scooters!
A recent visit to my local café coincided with a gathering of the local scooter club. Several scooters were parked together outside, making for an interesting display while people stopped for coffee. The group included Vespas and Lambrettas in a variety of colours.
Their owners took up almost all of the tables inside, so I found myself sitting at one of the outside tables, admiring the scooters.
One build that really caught my eye was a black custom scooter with a stretched out front end. It had a stripped back look that stood out from all the rest. It seemed more like a motorbike than a scooter.
Although I didn't speak to any of the riders, the gathering clearly drew attention from passersby. A collection of classic scooters isn't something you see every day, and it added extra interest to an otherwise ordinary morning. It's great to see local vehicle clubs continuing to meet up and keep these classic scooters on the road.
