[En-Es] Macaria gambarina

A few days ago I was walking around the yard and saw something yellow perched on some piles of dry branches and leaves.

Hace pocos días estaba recorriendo el patio y vi algo amarillo posar sobre unas ramas y hojas secas amontonadas.

I approached cautiously to avoid scaring it and noticed that it resembled a small butterfly with ochre colors, difficult to distinguish from the surroundings.

Me acerqué con cautela para evitar espantarlo y noté que era parecido a una mariposa pequeña con colores ocre, difícil de distinguir del entorno.

It had rained, and I thought the water had damaged its wings. Fortunately, I managed to take pictures and identify it.

It was actually a moth of the family geometridae Its scientific name is Macaria gambarina.
