Let Me Take a Selfie | My Entry for POBPhotoContest

So, guess what we did yesterday afternoon? Our family took a walk to this cool rest area called Uma Palak. It's part of this neat agro-tourism called Subak Sembung, right near our place.

Basically, it's a giant field of rice paddies that the Denpasar government made into a tourist spot. They even built a jogging track that goes right through the fields! You can get your exercise on (jogging or walking) and soak in the amazing view of all that green. It's like a little piece of countryside in the middle of busy Denpasar, super refreshing for the eyes!

Anyway, when we went yesterday, it wasn't harvest season yet, so the rice paddies were this incredible green as far as you could see. It'll probably look totally different in a few months when it's harvest time.

Speaking of green, there's #POBPhotoContest happening this week with the theme GREEN, hosted by @friendlymoose. Guess what color shirt and hat I was totally rocking when we were there? You guessed it – green!

So I snapped a selfie right in the middle of all that green goodness. Talk about perfect timing, right? Definitely gotta submit that one for the contest!
