A day of recording at the University of Havana. Mi informe de Actifit: octubre 5 2025
Hello, everyone! I'm sending you all a big hug from here. I wanted to let you know that yesterday was a very exhausting day. Yesterday we recorded one of the programmes I do for the Educational Channel called Corazón Universidad. We recorded this programme at the University of Havana, where I work as a television producer.
First thing in the morning, we set up the camera, sound and lighting equipment we're going to use. When we record at the University of Havana, we hardly use any lights, and sometimes we have to improvise with other types of equipment because on Saturdays, when we record, there are no classes at the university and almost all the classrooms and historical sites are closed. But we always put all our love and effort into giving the audience the best work possible.
Once all the staff and equipment are ready, we head to the University of Havana by transport. Although the educational channel is close to the university, some of the equipment is heavy, so we have transport to move it to the university.
Once at the university, we begin recording the interviews with the guests first, and then the other shots where only the presenters appear. We normally record this programme every 15 days and record two episodes.
The whole morning went very well, but then at midday it started to rain, so we had to stop filming because, although there were places where we could work indoors, the rain was too heavy and the sound did not allow the presenters to be heard properly. We had already done most of the programme in bright sunshine, so we had to stop filming for a few hours until the rain stopped. Finally, it stopped raining, and we were able to finish our recording. We had to return the equipment to the channel and download all the images so they could be edited.
Although yesterday's activity count was a little lower compared to previous days, it was a very busy day, resolving situations as they arose, and above all, a day of hard work.
As the saying goes, when you enjoy and love what you do, time flies. The programme director and I left the Channel at night and, of course, I walked home.
Once home, my body couldn't take any more, so Tae Bo will have to wait for another day. I hope you enjoyed my account of yesterday and that you all have a wonderful Sunday. Thank you for your support.
All the images used in this application were taken with my Redmi 14 C mobile phone.
