A giant "Lego" world and two tough guys

Today was my D-day 😅
Big crowd at work, many planned pending activities need to be completed, as well as all that follow, prepared and left to colleagues who, unlike me, do not go on vacation for 10 days 😀

That last day before vacation is always chaotic for me at work...

And that's why, after half a day, when it's time for a short break, instead of sitting in the relaxation zone and talking with colleagues, I decide to stretch my legs and walk around the company complex.

It's better for me to look at the green grass and enjoy its smell, than to look at the space where I spend all my working time.

I decide to walk this #WednesdayWalk to a part of the complex that I rarely go to, not because it's far, but because it's a restricted pedestrian zone.

Intermodal terminal

The area where shipping containers are repacked from trains to trucks.

In that zone, besides the fact that there are fences, this is where these giants move.

I always looked at them from a distance, and we can only get a true picture of the size of the Reachstecker when we see a man next to the machine.

And it is not surprising why this working machine must have such dimensions - it should be large enough to be able to catch and carry containers with goods, which sometimes weigh several tens of tons...

They are taken off the trains, packed in a zone defined for storage, then transferred to trucks that take them further...
And everything is like Lego blocks, light, fast and agile.

And so, while I rested from work, took a short walk, these two tough guys moved hundreds of tons of cargo.
I found them interesting.
