Looking For Some Feedback From The Hive Community:

I'm currently trying to decide what my next video project should be.
I did my last video rather quickly, and out of a sudden inspiration.
I have a few video ideas that are in various stages of work, and I'm trying to figure out what people might be interested in.
MOST of my videos are about Linux & open-source, but

1. Surveillance/AI Tracking Technology:

Flock Cameras & the much lesser-known Leonardo ELSAG & Signal Trace. This is very similar to Flock in terms of identifying and tracking a full spectrum of signals also tied to cameras & wireless handshakes.

Assets/designs:

These Other 3 Ideas are sort of tied together, and bleed into each other. All have to do with history.

2. History of the Smartphone:

I already have a lot of work put into this one.
It has a wide scope. Starting with the first cell-phone in 1973. The first smartphone in 1994, and the fleshing out of major technologies by forgotten companies like General Magic.
But also I'll be going into Blackberry, and Symbian OS before the iPhone/Android rise. Nokia will be heavily featured as they really did put a lot of work/effort into doing things differently. They were a major player in Symbian, but also they had Maemo & MeeGo.
Samsung had Tizen. LG bought Palm for WebOS. There's Sailfish that was created by former Nokia employees. So many operating systems, and different directions that were effectively ended in one fell swoop by Google.

3. A Look at the Duopolies In Technology:

This one is the least-fleshed out, but it will be about how we ended up with so many duopolies such as: Intel vs. AMD, Apple vs Microsoft, iPhone vs. Android, and Nvidia vs ATI(AMD now).

4. The First "Big-Tech" Companie(s):

The video about the cell phone evolution very much ties into Bell(AT&T) as well as IBM, and the Duopolies video would tie into IBM strongly.
Bell is the oldest, followed by IBM, and then HP.
But there are some other interesting ones like General Electric, Burroughs, National Cash Register, and Honeywell that are all legacy tech companies.
Bell created the original network: the telegraph and telephone network of the USA/Canada. Bell Labs created the first transistor, which is the first widely-adopted semiconductor that began the digital revolution.
And then, Bell Labs created the C programming language which is the basis of modern computers. And directly on the success of C they created the UNIX operating system which was the real workhorse of software and technology development that eventually morphed into Linux.
