Splinterlands Diary 28.01.25 - Rune Arcanist

Greetings, brave warriors of Splinterlands. I continue to explore new cards and one of my new favorites is the two element mage Rune Arcanist.

In addition to the fact that she can be used with Water and Earth, she has a great Weaken ability that makes enemy monsters lose one point of Max Health each. This is especially useful when the battle is almost evenly matched or the opponent uses weak cards with good attack parameters.

My opponent and I both chose summoners with the ability to use gladiators and both bet on Katrelba Gobson, whose fast double attacks make her very dangerous. However, we both took care of defense and I had a Flesh Golem as my tank and my opponent had a survivable Terraceous Grunt.

I quickly lost my gladiator to the enemy Jinn Chawla, and then my healer, but the Rune Arcanist's magic attacks were as effective as possible and helped me win.
