Splinterlands Diary 12.01.25 - Runemancer Kye

The adventures in Splinterlands continue and today I wanted to test the capabilities of the new Warborn Shaman, who can be played as Water and Death, but in the end one of the fights turned out to be a triumph of the legendary mage Runemancer Kye from the Riftwatchers set.

This card, in addition to good shield and life points, has a wonderful Life Leech ability that increases its Health, and it came in handy in this fight.

Due to the Briar Patch rule, I had to give up on melee fighters and choose a team of mages - Prismatic Energy, Jinn Oshannus, Runemancer Kye and Warborn Shaman, backed up by Merdaali Guardian and my favorite archer Halfling Alchemist to reduce the enemy forces.

By round 8 I had lost the first two cards and the real fun began - Runemancer Kye was pumping health at every round. The number of opponent's misses contributed to her life points and it was just a matter of stalling for the Fatigue phase to start.
