Splinterlands Diary 05.09.24 - Ujurak Elder

Greetings, brave warriors of Splinterlands! As I continue to explore the possibilities of the new Rebellion reward cards, today I had a great chance to use the UJURAK ELDER mage that I pumped up to level 3 earlier this week.

The card seems weak at first glance, but for low mana battles, its ability to remain unstoppable until it hits first position is just right.

So, I had a fight with 13 mana and a pretty interesting combination of HOLY PROTECTION, REVERSE SPEED and WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU, so I decided to bet on magic attacks and chose JINN BILJKA, UJURAK ELDER and KHMER PRINCESS as my main fighters, reinforcing them with OBSIDIAN summoner. I chose HALFLING REFUGEE as the defender for the mages, mainly because he has 2 melee attack points for a low summoning cost.

The enemy also emphasized magic attacks and strengthened their shields with QUEEN MYCELIA.... but it didn't help him!

In my opinion, with similar combinations of rules and especially REVERSE SPEED, this neutral mage can be very useful, especially if the amount of mana per battle is very limited.
