Timisoara is a city with three large squares

After a couple of hours of driving from AlbaJulia, we arrived in Timisoara. The plan was to spend the night here even though it is very close to the Serbian border and I would be home in 2 hours. On the way, we looked at the map and found an interesting town that I could visit the next day on my way home. We found accommodation 2km from the main square. We unpacked our things and set off on a tour.I was not unfamiliar with the city, I came here several times at a time when there was high inflation in my country, and I also bought food here in Hungary and Bulgaria. One of our favorite destinations is the promenade along the Begej River. But my team wanted to walk around the square, so we bypassed the river.Timisoara is a truly beautiful city, a city of squares, parks and diverse architecture. We visited this time
Victory Square
Freedom Square
United Square

This square is also called the Heart of Timisoara, it is surrounded by impressive buildings from the Austro-Hungarian era. At one end is the Orthodox Cathedral Church with recognizable domes, at the other is the building of the Opera House. This is an ideal place for a walk, coffee and enjoying the atmosphere of the city. Cafes and restaurants are located along the entire square, and numerous green areas with benches extend through its center. I wish you could sit down and soak in the scenery. The oldest square is Freedom Square. Unlike the previous square, the atmosphere here is somewhat calmer, with only a few pleasant and cozy cafes.

Third Square is the Unification Square with its colorful buildings in pastel colors. The square is great for relaxing, having a coffee or a walk, and often hosts cultural events. After you enter one square, you enter another, so you can spend the whole day visiting the merchants.

Their food is extremely delicious and you can buy clothes and shoes at a good price. And of excellent quality. It is wonderful to walk the streets of Timisoara at night. It is all a pedestrian zone. I hope you liked my post
