The words that flow from our lips will reveal what we’re made of and what our hearts feel, and it’s up to each of us to decide what image we’ll present to the world. But if we want to lead a healthy, harmonious life, trying to embrace others with our words from the heart will be one way to do so—and it will be beautiful. Choosing our words carefully will be so magical that they can turn tears into smiles.
Thoughts—both negative and positive—expressed through words will have a profound impact on our lives, not only on the environment in which we live and grow but, most importantly, on ourselves. By being mindful of them and embracing them through our words, we’ll become deserving of good things, empathy, and joy.
Whether the universe opens or closes doors for us, or whether we end up living in a disaster where human beings will most likely feel marginalized by the way they’ve grown accustomed to living—all of the above will either benefit or not benefit our lives, and each of us will be responsible for our own.
Although some may not believe it, the power of words is infinite; in fact, it will not remain there, but the universe will echo it, carrying it across valleys, mountains, rivers, and seas; it will seep through cracks, among others, and reach places we least expect. And when expressed through words, it will have a direct impact on the very person who spoke them, because the mind will not know whether the recipient is “so-and-so, such-and-such, or anyone else”; it will simply carry out the action in the body of the one who gave the command.
For that reason, we must be careful with what we say; for better or for worse, we must nurture and cultivate the impeccability of our words. Because there will be nothing more beautiful in this world than embracing others with words. And by this I do not mean that we will shower those we do not get along with with kisses—no; we simply ignore them. But as we go through life, if we interact positively and treat people well, then being kind will be a bonus; it will make a difference, which will bring us many benefits, especially in terms of our health.

Algunas personas afuera no estarán dispuestas a escucharlas.
As imperfect human beings who are sometimes ignorant of certain things, we may not realize that when we hurl insults or words of praise at someone—like scraps of paper tossed into the wind—they cannot be retrieved. It’s not that they don’t reach the other person; rather, they first pass through our own mind, body, and spirit, affecting our emotions—either negatively or positively—and often determining whether or not we experience well-being in our lives.
Throughout life, we’ll learn that words—something most people will ignore, dismissing them as irrelevant or saying they’ll “be carried away by the wind”—are a grave mistake; people tend to underestimate them, yet they carry more weight than we realize. They can be so powerful that the person receiving them might never forgive us for what we’ve said—or, conversely, might come to love us.
Personally, I’ve tried throughout my life to be mindful of the words I speak, and—as a true Virgo—I’m known for treating people well; with kindness, I embrace them with my words. In my mother’s home, that was one of the lessons I learned: treat others as you would like to be treated. Although sometimes I didn’t say anything to avoid causing harm, I also learned over time that keeping quiet affected my gut and my emotions; so, when the opportunity arises, I’ll speak up—I’ll try to do so in the best way possible to avoid hurting anyone—but I won’t hold anything back, just as I don’t hoard money, and what I feel will be less.
Due to circumstances we’ll have to face, we’ll feel like hurling thousands of insults, but we must uphold moral standards and good manners—and surely we’ve progressed as a society beyond the days when people would grab others by the hair, yell a thousand things at them, and drag them off to settle some dispute—come on!
We can’t go through life slamming doors, stomping our feet, or spewing “foul language” just because something didn’t go the way we wanted. So if we want to let off steam, we can do so—but only behind closed doors or with people we trust deeply. Some people out there won’t be willing to listen to it.
It won’t be easy to control, but it won’t be difficult either, and if we breathe in and out and count to ten to calm down, it’ll be great, because sometimes we’ll act on instinct, and being careful with what we say will be the best way to live in peace and harmony—and let’s remember that once words are spoken, they can never be taken back!
Sometimes we have issues to resolve with other people, and the healthiest thing to do is wait until we’ve calmed down so we don’t offend or hurt others with our words; for that reason, we must be impeccable with them, because it looks absolutely awful to express ourselves rudely, and in the long run, the goal is to live in harmony. There’s a reason some of us have studied; it won’t be the deciding factor, and our parents raised us to be good citizens, because everything stems from the home: values, customs, and more.
And sometimes more than one of us will ask: “How might my life be affected if I don’t ensure the impeccability of my words?” And unfortunately, wow! It will matter, because as social beings we’ll have to interact with others, and those who condemn or praise us will give us a hard time; perhaps they won’t want others to interact with our family, because that’s the reality—it’s society, whether we like it or not—that will question us, and let’s remember that we’re part of that society, and in the long run, we all judge others in one way or another.
Who would like it if their son, niece, or cousin hung out with rude kids on the street, swearing at people? Well, I don’t think anyone would, because we shouldn’t do to others what we wouldn’t want done to us.
Recently, I saw on social media—if I remember correctly, on Instagram—an Argentine boy saying, more or less, that we should be helpful, kind, and greet others with “How are you?” And I realized we’re on the right track because this next generation is wonderful. Applause and kudos to his parents; I congratulate them—they’re doing a great job. That boy is already being impeccable with his words; he embraces others with them. May God continue to bless him.

Wonderful people of #Empowertalent, it would be great to see households fly the flag of kind words and respectful treatment, and to teach people to be mindful of their thoughts before expressing their feelings and to choose their words carefully so as not to hurt others, because this will make a huge difference on life’s journey. Because the dictionary is vast, and we can choose to use the best words; even when we’re cutting ties—or even making the other person feel good—let’s do it with grace, even as we’re parting ways.
Currently, part of Venezuelan society has lost many values, and we constantly see children expressing themselves poorly, but it is up to us to restore those values and kind words—and this will clearly begin within the home. Children are impressionable and will act in accordance with the teachings of their parents, guardians, or caregivers, among others.
By choosing our words carefully—words that flow from our lips and come from the heart—we’ll be sure to feel good about ourselves and our well-being, and, just as importantly, make the listener—who is dedicating their valuable time to hearing us out—feel good as well. It’s very unpleasant to have to listen to some people spewing words recklessly and, for various reasons, not be able to speak up and put a stop to it.
Unfortunately, some people have not learned the meaning of impeccable language. Such people will tend to be shunned from gatherings or social circles, because many people will not be willing to waste their time listening to them.
Let’s strive to be impeccable with our words, so that we can communicate with due respect, for this will bring well-being to our lives. There is nothing more beautiful than embracing others with words, and let’s treat others as we wish to be treated so that we may live in well-being.
I say goodbye beautiful people, thankfulness is the north. Have a happy and blessed day.
