First Frost

Hey friends
today’s piece that I made is for the elftober prompt first frost which is the initiative of @cabalen

I imagined this little elf waking up early before the others
standing by the tall window just to see the world turn white for a moment
the first thin layer of cold light glowing by the glass

I kept the colors soft and muted. used the old green for the clothes and some warm brick red for the walls
greens still holding on before winter takes over
and the air feeling just a bit too quiet

something about the first frost always feels like a deep pause
like the world is holding for who knows what to come

hope it gives you that same calm and magic too
