Whatever your thoughts are on the platform tiktok, it's important to consider that this platform is Free speech that's hard to regulate.

Now more than ever we need platforms focused on Free speech. I do understand the concerns with China's influence on the platform. tick tock itself can influence people and it's short form videos can reduce attention spans. The platform has a lot of trash on it and it's not the best but we cannot reduce free speech on the internet.

There's a lot of major global issues going on around the world. people can download The tick tock app and start publishing short form videos that show what's really going on, and this is so key for maintaining freedom and freedom of speech. Recently, a massive bill went through for Ukrainian aid and a part of that bill included banning tiktok.

In conclusion, despite what goes on on the platform, tick tock should not be banned because many people around the globe use it to show what's really going on in the world. Tick tocks popularity is due in part because of influencer activity, but it's a legitimate way to share opinions and truths.
