It's likely we are in a Depression right now. It's different from the 1930's depression in that it is inflationary and we could be heading into a 1970s stagflationary recession as well.
Shit is not looking good. The 2024 election is coming sooner rather than later and they just aren't trying too hard to save the economy in a meaningful way.
Save your money and be ready. Pay your debts off because no one is coming to save you. The government actively doesn't like you and you will be your own savior. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
