Video Game Bash This Sunday

This Sunday (August 24th), we are going to be trying something different for kids of all ages at the Lacey United Methodist Church in Forked River, New Jersey. We are going to be playing video games with the help of an intern who signed up for the program at the beginning of summer. Three televisions are being held at the church with another person providing at least two video game consoles. I am hoping to meet with the intern before Sunday to finish planning for this event. Hosting this event comes as part of his internship.

Pizza and refreshments will be on hand and it is for kids of all ages. It will take place after Sunday Service and is expected to run from 12pm until 2pm. This will be an experiment for the church to see if events like these are worth continuing. RSVP is required so that we know how much food will be needed.
