The Rumors Are True

For awhile now, I have been hearing that Doyle's Pour House in Barnegat, New Jersey, have the best wings. I have heard it from their customers, their staff and various locals. Well, I went to Doyle's last Saturday evening and decided to put them to the taste test myself. After all, everybody has different opinions.

Located at 345 Main Street, I didn't start with the wings. I decided to have an appetizer in which I chose their Irish Nachos. These small Potato Pancakes served with Melted Cheddar Cheese and Bacon were absolutely the perfect way to begin a meal. They came with a side of Sour Cream which I buried each cake in.

Then, it was time for the wings, I chose to have them cooked in the Captain Morgan Spicy Sauce. Not only did they look beautiful, but they tasted even better! The skin was fantastically crispy, plus they gave a great portion of each part of the wing. I heard that after cooking them, they finish them off on the grill. So, I could honestly say that these were the best wings that I have ever tasted. In addition, they paired well with a Yuengling!
