Life Without The Pain
This is a song I wrote after I moved back home from NY.

LIFE WITHOUT THE PAIN
(Am Em G D)
No more yellow cabs and subways
I'm through breathing in your smog
I'm not the man who came here
An empty shell of who you robbed
I've been walking through the memories
Sifting through the shattered past
I sometimes can't determine
If it's really you behind the glass
(Chorus)
My life's always changing
Yet it always seems the same
Tired of dreaming about tomorrow
You can't live life without the pain
I left the bridges all behind me
Ones I burned down one by one
The city more than changed me
Don't recognize who I've become
It's time to take back what I came for
Pick up the pieces while I can
I have a chance to stop the bleeding
Without you I'm a better man
My life's always changing
Yet it always seems the same
Tired of dreaming about tomorrow
You can't live life without the pain
