it's rhythm beats like the heart of a nation
a symbol of unity and celebration
with every Strike you hear a New Sensation
Drum skin stretched tight and right
waiting for the hand to strike
Combining skin wood human
in a sound that can never be tamed
the beat echoes through all lanes
a call to come dance and sing
every strike Brings people to Stand
Ready to take a chance
in creating a new land.
The Djembe drum speaks a language that transcends words space and time.
with every beat a Story is Scribed in Rhythm that forever shine
The Djembe drum of West Africa
a symbol of a people's pride
with every strike we come together
and in the rhythm we reside.
