Sept-Amber day 7: A Pumpkin Pie
Good day and greetings to you my creative friends. I am back here for week 2 of the Sept-Amber autumn aesthetic drawing challenge of our friend @london65 . Unfortunately though I skipped day 6 which is "an old compass". I failed at my attempts to draw a vintage looking compass with all the tiny details and no matter how I tried it just did not work. I do not want to sound negative and do not want to stop there and so I decided I will take the the pumpkin pie prompt. This prompt is showing so much promise for me.
I think it is the beautiful and rich tones of the pumpkin and the burnt pie crust that speak to me and was able to create this quick doodle. It may look simple but I used several layers to achieve the different colors of the pie including the shadows and highlights. Not to mention the shape of the triangular pie. It is a bit of a challenge getting that right. I want the pie to look delicious and the colors rich just like how I imagined it to be. Hope I did not disappoint.
Thank you for your usual support and engagement on my posts hope you enjoyed reading and got inspired to try this drawing challenge too.
