Can Hive Make it to Mainstream?

Can Hive make it to mainstream? Hmm, well that's not an easy question to ask considering the current situation going around Hive. Not because the platform is not worthy of it but because there is not much of a noise about Hive.

That being said, promotion plays a very vital role in the success of a project. There are different forms of promotions and could be done through paid ads, Incentivizing community members for helping spread the word of mouth, utilizing the traffic of social medias like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit etc.

Talking of Twitter, the new Twitter policies have imposed limits of the reach of Tweets but I guess Dapp owners on Hive may have to upgrade their accounts buying the blue tick on Twitter to reach more audience on Twitter as there is a significant amount of crypto community over there.

And it's not only about Twitter, netizens have now Meta's Thread lately by Mark Zuckerberg with millions of followers in no time, could also be utilized in spreading awareness about Hive.

We have to agree that Hive as a platform has some flaws and would require a lot of work in order to thrive but at the same time, its a platform that does look to be very underestimated.

Now, I am not taking sides but if you compare Hive with Steemit, you would find much value out here on Hive but again why is it so that Hive is being overshadowed by some when it comes to talk of decentralized social media.

Why it so? Probably because Steemit has more monthly visitors compared to Hive? May be that's why Steemit is being ranked above Hive? But if you talk of value, I believe Steemit is far behind Hive in this field.

And this is where the need for promotion comes in. Hive community do need to come forward and do whatever they could help in promoting this platform and probably rightly so because we have stakes in Hive. So, it's going to have an impact on us.

Can Hive make it mainstream? It's difficult but not impossible. Hard work with consistency needs to be there in order to get there.
