Disfrutando de un día de playa//(Esp/Eng)

Hola, amigos de esta comunidad.

​Hoy quiero contarles que, como mi nieto Gael está pasando sus vacaciones conmigo aquí en Cumaná, quise llevarlo temprano a la playa para que se diera un buen chapuzón, ya que a él le encanta el mar. Aunque en estos días me he sentido un poco mal a causa de una fuerte gripe, no quise dejar pasar la oportunidad; así que salimos temprano, nos dimos un baño en el agua y regresamos a tiempo a casa para preparar el almuerzo.

​En mi ciudad, Cumaná, tenemos la dicha de contar con muchas playas. En esta ocasión fuimos a una muy conocida que queda a solo 15 minutos de la ciudad y es conocida como Playa Quetepe. Esta playa me encanta porque sus aguas son cristalinas y su arena es muy suave. Además, es ideal para ir con niños, ya que prácticamente no tiene olas y no es tan profunda, lo que la hace muy segura para Gael y otros niños.

​Nuestra idea principal era salir a la playa a eso de las 7:00 a.m., pero se nos hizo un poco tarde porque antes tuvimos que pasar por el parque cementerio a llevar unas flores. Ya que el domingo pasado no pudimos ir debido a que yo tenía mucha fiebre, así que era una visita que tenía pendiente. A pesar de la hora a la que llegamos a la playa, había poca gente, por lo que enseguida, al llegar, nos metimos a nadar de inmediato, para disfrutar de su agua serena y cristalina.

​De verdad que disfrutar de la brisa marina, del ancho mar, ver la alegría de mi nieto en el agua y compartir estos pequeños momentos en familia no tiene precio. Es bueno disfrutar aunque sea un rato, ya que el mar siempre renueva las energías, y aunque la visita fue corta, nos devolvimos a casa con el corazón contento y el espíritu renovado para continuar disfrutando de sus vacaciones.

​Today I want to tell you that, since my grandson Gael is spending his vacation with me here in Cumaná, I wanted to take him to the beach early so he could take a good dip, since he loves the ocean. Although I’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately due to a bad flu, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity; so we left early, went for a swim, and got back home in time to make lunch.

In my city, Cumaná, we’re lucky to have many beaches. This time we went to a very popular one that’s just 15 minutes from the city and is known as Playa Quetepe. I love this beach because its waters are crystal clear and the sand is very soft. Plus, it’s ideal for kids, since there are practically no waves and it isn’t very deep, which makes it very safe for Gael and other children.

Our original plan was to head to the beach around 7:00 a.m., but we ended up running a little late because we had to stop by the cemetery first to drop off some flowers. Since we couldn’t go last Sunday because I had a high fever, this was a visit we still needed to make. Despite the time we arrived at the beach, there weren’t many people there, so as soon as we got there, we jumped right in to swim and enjoy the calm, crystal-clear water.

Truly, enjoying the sea breeze, the vast ocean, seeing my grandson’s joy in the water, and sharing these little moments as a family is priceless. It’s good to enjoy it even if just for a little while, since the sea always recharges your energy, and even though the visit was short, we returned home with happy hearts and renewed spirits to continue enjoying our vacation.
