A Beautiful Place

I have seen the world and it is a beautiful place.
The story of the old widow and the countless champions she's raised,
the ever waving soft grass that stubbornly grows on my lawn,
the miracle of birth and the unfathomable joy a newborn brings to warm the heart.

I have seen the world and it is a beautiful place;
with every raindrop that tills the earth
and the bright rays that dry my skin.
In the eyes of my lover
and the free play with my seeds.

I know the world is a beautiful place
and that the wickedness and evil we see is but a fleeting thing,
it grows when we try to kill/keep matters we should at once address.
