My Memorable Birthday Celebration

Yesterday was special, it was a day of delight,
My birthday arrived, bathed in joy so bright.
Family and friends gathered around, with love in their eyes,
To share in my joy, wishing me blessings from the heavenly skies.

Right from that morning's first light, I felt the cheer,
It was a day of celebration, and it was already here.
Surprises awaited, around every bend,
As blessings poured in, from dear family and friends

A sister then prepared a meal, as per my command,
She prepared it, with talents so grand.
The jollof rice was abundant, for all to partake,
It was a delicious delight, no one could forsake.

A cake arrived, from a friend so dear,
A sweet gesture, to bring me cheer.
And yet came another, a client's kind surprise,
Generosity overflowing, reaching the skies.

Then the house fellowship commenced, with hearts aglow,
In the presence of God, we basked in the glow.
A message of faith, to uplift the soul,
Followed by singing, making us whole.

Surrounded by loved ones, I felt so blessed,
Each moment cherished, in my heart impressed.
From laughter and feasting, to drinks and fun,
A day to remember, now that it's done.

So here's to the memories, forever to hold,
Of a birthday filled with love, more precious than gold.
Thank you, dear family and friends, for making it grand,
A day to remember, in my heart it'll stand.
