Cassie's heartbreaks
Hello, hello! How have you been? Have you had a drink of water?
¡Hola, hola! ¿cómo han estado? ¿ya tomaron agua?
Today, I drew Cassie, one of the characters that most caught my attention from the Euphoria series.
Hoy, dibujé a Cassie, uno de los personajes que más me llamó la atención de la serie Euphoria.
Obviously, I added little surrealistic touches. For this illustration, I used one of the actress's instagram photos as a reference.
Obviamente, le agregué pequeños toques surrealistas. Para esta ilustración, usé de referencia una de las fotos del instagram de la actriz.

I make the sketch using my reference image and then clean it up and have my coloring area ready.
Realizo el boceto utilizando mi imagen de referencia para luego limpiarlo y tener lista mi área de coloreo.
As usual, I apply the base colors, this time my intention was that the illustration was dominated by dark and intense colors. Thus, for the shadows I used brown colors.
Como de costumbre, aplico los colores base, esta vez mi intención era que la ilustración estuviera dominada por colores oscuros e intensos. De esta forma, para las sombras utilicé colores marrones.
Lips, reddened eyes and blush among other details were the next step. Little by little I was structuring the features using the watercolors offered by the program.
Labios, ojos enrojecidos y rubor entre otros detalles fueron el siguiente paso. Poco a poco iba estructurando las facciones utilizando las acuarelas que el programa ofrece.
I select the hair and block the transparent pixels to give it volume and natural shine, as we are working with dark colors, within its color palette I tried to respect these tones.
Selecciono el cabello y bloqueo los píxeles transparentes para darle volumen y brillos naturales, como estamos trabajando con colores oscuros, dentro de su paleta de colores procuré respetar estos tonos.
As for the background, I was playing around with the roses, the truth is that I didn't want to make it very faithful to the original photo, so I placed many more flowers than they were.
En cuanto al fondo, fui tanteando con las rosas, la verdad no lo quise hacer muy fiel a la foto original, por lo que coloqué muchas más flores de las que eran.
Lastly, I blurred some of the background roses, while I shimmered the ones in front of her. In addition, I embedded the rose marks in her skin and polished every detail of the eyelashes, some of the roses and in general things that I felt were missing from the drawing.
Por último, difuminé algunas de las rosas de fondo, mientras que le coloqué brillo a las que estaban de frente. Además, incrusté en su piel las marcas de rosas y pulí cada detalle de las pestañas, algunos de las rosas y en general cosas que sintiera que le faltaran al dibujo.
