Light Healer Ready for the Soccer World Cup (the first illustration I've created since the earthquake in Venezuela)

Happy Friday to everyone in the #holozing community.

Here I am with an illustration—I’m not sure if "special" is the right word for it, or how exactly to describe it. It follows two days without drawing—days marked by exhaustion and a lack of motivation, and nights spent unable to sleep, constantly on alert here in Venezuela, ready to run if the ground shook again like it did on June 24th—a date I’ll never forget. I had never experienced anything like it; everything was shaking so violently that I thought it was all going to come crashing down. Fortunately, my family and I are safe. This is a soccer-themed illustration featuring the #LightHealer, though there’s a sense of dejection underlying it. Still, life goes on, and—as with every post—here is the process.

I hope everyone from Venezuela who is on #Hive—especially those in the hardest-hit areas like Caracas and La Guaira—is doing well. Those were the places that took the biggest hit; where I live was affected too, but to a lesser extent.

This post combines soccer and Holozing elements, but it’s also a way for me to vent. I’ll be back another time with new illustrations, feeling more rested and in better spirits. For now, sleep is fitful—we have to be ready to run if nature strikes again. Stay safe, and a huge thank you to everyone from other countries who has supported Venezuela. See you in the next post.
