Back in August I managed to get over to New Zealand, something I’ve wanted to do for ages & gosh what a ridiculously beautiful especially Fiordland where this was taken.

I’d come to this location a few times but never quite found a composition I liked until, like most times I got frustrated, sat down & realised I could get into the water

Along with the various bit & bobs for the trip, I brought along a pair of waders which allowed me to in this case get into the river to hip height without getting wet & shoot right up the middle of the valley towards the mountains

I was lucky (patience & a ton of time spent in one place) enough to get some light in the direction I wanted - had the added bonus of some classic Beech trees on either side
