This was my second visit to this canyon in New Zealand. Something I didn't get the first time around was that light shining through the entrance. I had planned for the predicted clear skies but when I got there, there wasn’t a slither of sky in sight.
So little old me sulked around down the back of the canyon for a bit taking it all in, just trying to enjoy the experience anyway. As I was about to leave gaps of light started pushing through the clouds and every now and then it would light up the cave so I setup my tripod and waited, and waited and eventually I got this shot
