Dawn (2024)

Just before the whole area was blanketed in snow I spent a few days exploring & scouting out areas of Kosciuszko (Australia) I’d never been to before

On the last day, we got up at 2am, packed the tents & hiked for the sunrise - it was an absolute slog starting with a crazy hike out of the valley up a mountain

It was cold, it was wet, it was slippery, it was dark & I wasn’t particularly happy but that changed as the sun started rising, the fog shifted, thinned & the glow & light cut through it all

I didn’t have a comp lined up but I’d been there so many times before that I was able to lock something in as the best of the light came through
