Step-by-Step Instructions:
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to
180°C (356°F)
.
Line an
8x8” baking dish
with baking paper.
Blend Oats:
- Pulse the rolled oats in a blender until they reach a fine flour consistency.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the
plant milk
,
nut butter
,
maple syrup
, and
vanilla extract
.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
Add the
cocoa powder
,
oat flour
,
baking powder
, and a pinch of
salt
to the wet mixture.
Stir until smooth, ensuring no lumps remain. Adjust batter consistency with more oat flour if needed.
Fold in Chocolate Chips:
Stir in the
dark chocolate chips
and pour the batter into the prepared dish.
Bake:
Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top and bake for
30-35 minutes
.
Cool and Slice:
Let the baked oats cool for
10 minutes
before removing from the dish. Slice into squares.
