Jornada de vacunación / vaccination drive

Hola amigos feliz día a todos espero que estén super bien , hace unos días estaba en casa y me escribieron para avisarme que muy cerca estaban realizando una jornada de vacunación y desparasitación canina , le comenté a mi novio y estaba lloviendo super fuerte y el no quiso sacar a nuestros perros en ese momento así que decidimos esperar a ver si bajaba un poco de llover , la jornada empezaba a las 8:30 am y terminaba a las 2:00pm a eso de las 11:00am se despejó un poco el clima y tomamos la decisión de llevarlos .

A few days ago, I was at home when I got a message letting me know that a canine vaccination and deworming drive was taking place nearby. I mentioned it to my boyfriend, but since it was raining really hard, he didn't want to take our dogs out right then, so we decided to wait and see if the rain would let up a bit. The event ran from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM; around 11:00 AM, the weather cleared up a little, and we decided to take them.

Le colocamos sus correas y no fuimos caminando estábamos a unos 15 min caminando, al llegar nos indicaron que ya las vacunas sextuples se habían terminado Pero aún quedaba antirrábica y desparasitación así que tomamos la decisión de quedarnos , la verdad aunque había algo de cola fue bastante rápido , al llegar me tomaron los datos me hicieron varias preguntas al respecto de su salud y todo eso , les tomaron la temperatura y luego procedieron a desparasitarlos y vacunarlos .

We put on their leashes and walked over—it was about a 15-minute walk. When we arrived, we were told they had run out of the six-in-one vaccines, but the rabies vaccine and deworming treatment were still available, so we decided to stay. To be honest, even though there was a bit of a line, things moved quite quickly; upon arrival, they took down my details and asked several questions about the dogs' health and so on, then checked their temperatures before proceeding to deworm and vaccinate them.

Nuestro perro Hansel no le gusta que lo carguen así que cuando llegó su turno teníamos que subirlo a la mesa y eso fue todo un protocolo ya que se puso a llorar y se tiró en el piso y no me dejaba cargarlo 😅 después entre mi novio y yo logramos subirlo a la mesa y todo bien , después de esto había que hacer otra pequeña cola para que nos dieran los certificados de vacunación y me dijeron que estuviéramos atentos para la próxima jornada poder colocarles la sextuple , actualmente hay un brote fuerte de enfermedades por eso en muy importate mantener las vacunas al día , al llegar a casa estaban sumamente cansados ya que ellos no estan acostumbrados a salir a caminar tan lejos y durmieron el resto del día.

Our dog Hansel doesn't like being picked up, so when his turn came, we had to lift him onto the table; it turned into quite an ordeal because he started whining, flopped onto the floor, and wouldn't let me pick him up 😅. Eventually, my boyfriend and I managed to get him onto the table, and everything went fine. After that, we had to wait in another short line to get the vaccination certificates, and I was told to keep an eye out for the next event so he could get the 6-in-1 vaccine; there is currently a severe disease outbreak, so keeping vaccinations up to date is very important. When we got home, they were absolutely exhausted since they aren't used to walking such long distances, and they slept for the rest of the day.
