#Ulog No2: 40-minute Ride
It was in May 4, 2017 around ten twenty three in the evening when I felt her excitement.
I knew right then that she couldn’t wait for another week.
She just kept on doing incredible things inside, like a detainee who wanted to be released.
I wanted to let her out of me for I too was excited of meeting her.
At that moment, I immediately grabbed my phone and called up the ambulance.
Next thing happened was my 40-minute ride from my home to the hospital.
I literally didn’t know what to do.
It was my first time to feel such painful feeling.
I just couldn’t explain it in toto.
For first time moms, maybe you could relate to what I am saying.
Inside the vehicle, I kept on changing my position because I felt like there was tightening all over my tummy which radiated into my lower back.
Instead of screaming, I just bit my rolled hanky.
I couldn’t focus on what was happening inside of me because the vehicle was fast and some roads were rough and bumpy.
I was worried on our safety.
Phew! After forty minutes, we arrived at the Leyte Provincial Hospital safely.
