A quick Dog sketch at work
Hi Everyone, it's been a long time since I've posted here but I suspect you might be seeing a lot more of me soon.
I thought I would start with a very quick sketch I did at work last week.
The subject of drawing dogs came up after someone drew small cartoons of each work dog (we have three people that bring in their pups!) on a white board.
Keen to show off, I decided to draw this adorable cocker spaniel.
All I had in the way of art supplies was a post it note and a black biro pen.
Not the easiest media to work with. The pen kept running dry, then when applying slightly more pressure, would splat a large amount of ink out. But I'm happy with how it came out considering it must have taken around 20 minutes total.
This drawing prompted me to buy some graphite artist pencils which I can't wait to use on a more detailed drawing.
