Midnight Seems To Fit (Silent Tears)

Why does the heavy weight of the world always hit us at midnight? A raw, honest reflection on fighting silent battles in the dark, unburdening our hearts, and finding the non-negotiable strength to keep moving forward.

"I can't fight anymore. I don't have the strength to carry on," he cried silently.

Midnight seems to be the perfect moment to unburden. It is the time when no one sees how tired you really are, and no one sees the bruised pain you carry inside.

What Keeps You Awake?

Have you ever wondered what keeps you awake at midnight? Sometimes, you need the dark atmosphere to hide your tears. You need a safe space to speak when no one else is listening, to pour your heart out, so you can put on a strong face when tomorrow shines its light.

I know exactly what being down feels like because I have been down for the longest time. Yet, the strength I manage to show, honestly, I don't even know where it comes from.

Have you ever seen the light and screamed, "Oh, finally!" only for the light to vanish before you could even finish your sentence?

Life keeps stretching us to a point where we stand face-to-face with our deepest demons. In those moments, not giving up feels impossible, but it is the only way forward. It is non-negotiable.

So, let the tears flow. Unburden your heart. Let the total silence of the night absorb that pain.

But when you are completely done, brace yourself up, and keep it moving.

You are not alone. This is only a passing phase. Take heart, because the light is finally on this time, and it won't be going off.
