Every administrative office was tasked with finding out if bitcoin is good. . So this is no surprise that they found Bitcoin mining uses more electricity than PoS. Ultimately I think banning PoS is meant to be a strategic move.

I do think it is a bit funny that they say not only is PoW bad, but they also hinted at how blockchain can be used to monitor and control electrical usage by the consumer.

So distributed blockchain that was meant to remove the middleman and return financial freedom to people, in fact turns out to be one of the most powerful tools for controlling and monitoring citizens financially. Not only are they saying you cannot use as much energy as it requires, but they are realizing they can control your energy usage with its technology.

We should be thankful we have such government willing to protect us from every possible bad thing.
