This Corner Is Mine
As little as I want, as unpolished as I need, I write what I want to. Even though I spend days crafting good stories, I cannot let go of the overemphasis on dark writing, and without it I do not feel like I am writing at all. I got muted for writing in communities and contests, so the place I have left is a corner where some might reach for something better. That corner should be mine.

The people who read me, I commend, because I get so tired of reading the same things over and over.
Money, or myself, I think about it a lot. I venture into fantasy, but what I am really drawn to sits between fiction and nonfiction. The dreams are what power us. They relate to us. They make us human.
Just a corner for my own free writing. Perhaps a learning tool for myself. A way from the noise, away from it all.
