Desalinization is about to get much cheaper.
Israeli start-up HydroP has created a technology to improve the efficiency of desalinization membranes used in today's standard but very expensive sea water desalinization plants. Since only 3% of world wide water supply is fresh water, and much of it severely polluted, this new membrane additive should boost supplies as it is developed in it usable form and rolled out in Israel and around the world.
