Where do you belong? You can use their ongoing World Cup performances to judge.

• Messi played against Algeria in Argentina's opening game and scored a hat-trick, but hey, he committed a foul that should have sent him off. However, he was pardoned because he's FIFA's first son. Do you still want to choose him over Ronaldo?

• Ronaldo and his team played against DR Congo and wanted to match Messi's magic, but he flopped. Now, there's tension in Portugal's WhatsApp group about the upcoming match against Uzbekistan, with people suggesting that he should be benched. Do you still want to choose Ronaldo over Messi?
