A new cast of adventurers on a quest..

The first movie, came out back when I was just 14, back in 1988. It was awesome. One of my favorite movies of all time. I think it holds up even today and I give it a watch whenever I catch it playing somewhere.. (or even watch it on youtube or something)

Well, now the adventure continues as a little known actor/directer, Ron Howard, and his crew have worked out a whole series with a bunch of episodes for our entertainment. Much of the original cast is back. The party is led by the great willow himself, played by Warwick Davis. He is a wonderful character who leads perfectly this young cast of adventurers.

So far, I only have watched the first episode.. but I think you can pretty much tell if a series is any good after watching the first episode, if not even the first 15 minutes. There is only a brief establishing of the setting, characters, etc. before the story takes off and the quest is begun.. that is one of my preferred plots for sure!

If you are a fan of the original willow or just a fan of fantasy/adventure or just a fun watch.. give the first episode a try.
