Sharing the lovely lessons I learnt at the Bible Study teaching via Zoom today 5th January, 2022.

Today's lesson is about the correction of bad impression of people on bible.

I also made short video which mentioned few of the lessons but I'll advice you read through.

Some of the important point I learnt

• God is a God of orderliness. If truly the world existence come into place through explosion according to Big Bang Theory, things will not be in order as they are now.

• God changes not. Whatever He says, He'll do. According to Malachi 3:6.
  God says He is "I am". This means that He is the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob. Even after so many years that Moses ask who He was, He still remain the same and till now He is still our God. He remains the same.

• According to Jalonski and Chaplin, movement of people can affect the colour of human from being darker to fairer or vice versa within 1000years. Food, weather or chemical can also cause these changes but God remain the same and unchangeable.
  His being remain from everlasting to everlasting.

• Sharing light on two passages of the Bible that may be confusing.
  Numbers 23:19 that says God is not a man that he should lie or a man that repent.
  Exodus 32:14 that says God repent.

Human beings repent whenever we sin or do things wrong but the repentance of God is not from doing wrong or sin.
What repentance of God simply means is that God forgive and pardon human from destruction whenever we repent of our sins and turn to Him. For example in the book of Jonah 3:4-10. He sent Jonah to the people of Nineveh that He will destroy them, when they repent from their sins God also repent from destroying them
Meaning that when we repent from our sins, God would forgive us.
From the book of 2 Chronicles 7:14 if people can humble themselves, turn from their evil ways and pray unto God, God is ready to forgive and heal whatever diseases in the land, he is ready to hear our prayers from heaven.

My belief that was improved on while listening to the lesson.

Sodom and Gomorrah are not homosexual like it is widely believed. Lust against all that is against nature is what take up their mind. They are too carried away because they are sex maniac. They used both men and women just to satisfied themselves.

Ways the study affect me to improve on my daily living

God does not want us to take revenge on any one that offend us. He is God of justice that will avenge us. When we take revenge ourselves, we may take it to extreme, therefore, we should let God handle it by Himself.
