Some of the lessons learnt and short video from the teaching by bro Eli Soriano

As a children of God, we all have two beings, the inner mind and the outer outer man.

The different between the children of God and children of man is that the children of God have inner mind that faint not but renewed day by day while the children of man possess outer being alone which will eventually perish.

2 Corinthians 4:16
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Our inner being is our soul which remains the same always.
The inner mind is spiritual

2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

I also learnt that I should beware of false prophets because some of them are led by the outer body b UT t are clothed with sheep clothing.

Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Anyone with an inner mind delights in the law of the Lord.

Romans 7:22
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Psalms 40:8
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

Whatever situation or condition we get to, we should not boost about it because we cannot achieve it on our own but God made it possible.

One of the things we need to always do is to examine ourselves.

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

In the teaching, I also learnt that walking in the good way gives rest to the soul.

Jeremiah 6:16
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jesus Christ is the light of the world, he that follow Him shall not walk in darkness.

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Also in the teaching, I learnt that keeping our body well is very important in serving God. If we are sick, it is not easy to serve God therefore, we need to maintain our body in good shape and health.

Whatever we apply to our body, the body absorb it, so we should be careful of what we apply. Hygiene is the best way to maintain our body.

Modest apparel is what God want us to wear. Whatever we wear, there should be no display of the private part like breast, thigh and the inner part of the body.

1 Timothy 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
