My entry - Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 282 - Parque da Água Branca Peacock

((JUST REALIZED THAT THE CONTEST ENDED :/))

EN

These photos of the peacock were taken at Água Branca Park in São Paulo, Brazil, during an outing with my SENAC photography class. Sometimes the bird roams freely around the park, but on that day, it was inside the enclosure with the chickens and ducks, keeping its wing spread wide for about five minutes. No one else in my class managed to photograph it with its wing spread—only I did, as I had gotten separated from the group for nearly an hour and got lucky. The animal is truly beautiful and majestic—almost surreal. It seemed a bit aggressive, too; it was making a noise as if it were about to lunge at and peck the roosters and hens nearby.
