she & I
it reminds me of the smirking lady, ayahuasca
she gives me chills and I sometimes talk of it
the medicine vomit scent
death
where she sat with her hands on my feet
through the darkness we breathed as if to speak
it is okay, though the demons reach
there death occurred
for the first of many times afterward
dressed in black and she in white
"What to do about death?"
we'll decide when it comes time
it is as it is
& it is okay.
