If I Could Stop One Thing in the World

If I had the power to stop just one thing in this world, it would be the unnecessary killing of human beings by other human beings.

Here in my country, there are certain people to whom human life means little or nothing. We have people involved in organ harvesting who see it as a source of income. There are also kidnappers who abduct innocent people just to collect ransom, and in many cases, their victims never make it home alive.

Worst of all are those involved in ritual killings. I know this is not something commonly talked about in many countries, and it is often associated with parts of Africa. Although I have never witnessed it myself, and I pray I never do. I believe it is real based on the numerous reports and stories I have heard over the years.

Whether it is young people luring girls for evil intentions or criminals kidnapping passengers from commercial buses, these acts are heartbreaking. If I had the power to stop any one thing, this would be my priority.

Those responsible should face justice and be held fully accountable for their crimes. There should be consequences severe enough to discourage anyone else from ever choosing such a path. Human life is priceless, and no amount of money, power, or personal gain is worth taking an innocent life.

Stopping such an act will make the world a better place and people won't be so scared of leaving their house with the fear of not making it back home... So many things need to be done but solving that one problem is a great step...
