Do It Your Way or Not at All

I recently came across an Ecency post discussing how to write a proper introduction post on Hive. It's a good starting point because many people don't know where to start.

For those of us who've been here a while, maybe it brings back memories. I know it did for me. I've only been here three years, but it took me a while to find my introduction post.

Looking at what the article recommends compared to what I did, I followed some of the guidelines. The only problem is I did it three weeks after I had already started posting in the #silvergoldstackers community.

The Ecency article recommends adding a picture of yourself for verification. I prefer a degree of anonymity. Clearly it hasn't hindered me so far. At the end of the day, I could look like a troll or Adonis, but what does that matter so long as what I write is worth reading?

In the end, Hive is about community and having fun. If you're not having fun, then why are you here? The best way to have fun is to do things your way in your own style. If you do that, you'll never be disappointed here on Hive.
