A big hello to the community! It's already August 3rd, these are my last weeks of vacation and I'm making the most of them! After painting the rooms in my apartment, I've been in home mode, buying some things for the house and also clothes to start the semester that was interrupted and that we'll resume the second week of September. I've also been practicing with new dishes to further expand my cooking skills and not get bored when I have to bring lunch to the lab or the institute. Of course, regarding Hive, I've increased my activity, and one of those things was the Power Up Day event, but first, let's check the price of Hive this week.

And well, as expected, the price of Hive continues to fall. The latest alarming news doesn't come from the events happening with the conflicts in Russia/Ukraine or the Middle East, but surprisingly, from Japan! It seems a perfect financial storm is brewing, centered on the yen, debt, and the country's economic policy. In fact, I think we're finding out about all this too late, and we're possibly in the eye of the hurricane; we're just seeing the calm before the storm.

Therefore, friends, it's very likely we'll continue to see our cryptocurrency fall, so instead of panicking, let's take advantage of this period of low prices to continue accumulating Hive in the form of HP!

Let's start with our monthly event, which is practically a religious ceremony: Hive Power Up Day (#HPUD). I use these days to boost the amount of HP I lock monthly. As you can see, I added funds to my Hive wallet, although to be honest, it was many more Hives. I just invested them in valuable Splinterlands assets, and I don't regret it at all; they've now appreciated up to four times their original value! I left enough liquid Hives for daily power-ups, but it's very likely that next week I'll exchange more of my devalued fiat currency for liquid Hives to continue increasing my HP.

As you know, my main goal is focused on HP; voting power and influence on the blockchain are crucial for me. My goal of 12,000 HP this year is just a few weeks away from being achieved. This week we already surpassed 25% of the 1,000 HP needed to reach 12,000. Last week, even though I was busy with housework, I maintained my average weekly HP generation of 143 HP. I also want to mention that we've achieved our #HPUM, which is the achievement for powering up daily for the rest of the month. With July, we've now completed seven months of 2026 with #HPUM, and 19 consecutive months since we committed to powering up every day!

The 7-day and 30-day graphs of my HP earnings indicate the consistency of our activity and commitment. Looking at this data and projecting the numbers over the next four weeks, and being very conservative, by the end of August we'll be only 15% away from reaching our 12K HP goal. It might even be sooner, since I only started getting active again with snaps and comments last week, so we'll continue to track our Hive activity weekly.

Now we move on to the most complicated part of my goals: HBD in savings. It's tricky because as the price of Hive drops, we can accumulate fewer HBD from our daily rewards, but at least this week, despite the price of one Hive being $0.042, we managed to generate 5 HBD. It's certainly difficult, but we set this goal at the beginning of the year and were already struggling, so now we just need to keep up the pace to achieve it.

Since we collected the interest last week, we've only generated 3,847 HBD and have 3 weeks left to add another 20 HBD to our valuable stash. If we maintain this weekly HBD generation rate for at least those 3 weeks, we'll reach 2,045 HBD. It's slow progress, but the key is consistency and viewing each HBD as an extra worker that will generate a 10% APR.

Un gran saludo comunidad! Ya estamos a 3 de agosto, estas son mis últimas semanas de vacaciones y los estoy aprovechando al máximo! Después de pintar las habitaciones de mi apartamento, estuve en modo hogareño comprando algunas cosas para la casa y también de ropa para empezar el semestre que se interrumpió y que retomaremos la segunda semana de septiembre. También he estado practicando con nuevos platos de comida para ampliar todavía mas mis habilidades en la cocina y no aburrirme cuando tengo que llevar almuerzo al laboratorio o al instituto. Por supuesto, en cuanto a Hive he aumentado mi actividad y una de ellas era el evento del power up day, pero antes vamos a revisar el precio de Hive esta semana que comienza.

Y bueno, como esperaba, el precio de Hive sigue bajando. Las últimas noticias alarmantes no vienen de los eventos que están sucediendo entre los conflictos de Rusia/Ucrania o el de medio oriente, sino de Japón sorprendentemente! Al parecer se esta gestando una tormenta financiera perfecta centrada en el yen, la deuda y la política económica de ese país. De hecho yo creo que nos estamos enterando ya tarde de todo este asunto y posiblemente estemos en el ojo del huracán, solo que estamos viendo la calma antes de la tormenta.

Por tanto amigos, lo más probable es que continuemos viendo caer nuestra criptomoneda, así que más que alarmarse aprovechemos el momento de precios bajos para seguir acumulando Hive bajo la forma de HP!

Iniciemos con nuestro evento mensual que ya es prácticamente una ceremonia religiosa, el Hive Power Up Day (#HPUD) aprovecho estos días para hacer un boost de la cantidad de HP que bloqueo mensualmente. Como pueden ver añadí fondos a mi billetera de Hive, aunque siendo sinceros con ustedes eran muchos más Hives, solo que los invertí en activos valiosos de Splinterlands y no me arrepiento ahora se han revalorizado hasta 4 veces su valor! Dejé los Hives líquidos suficientes para los power up diarios, pero es muy probable que la semana próxima vuelva a cambiar más de mis devaluadas monedas fíat en Hive líquidos para continuar aumentando mi HP.

Como bien saben, mi meta principal esta enfocada en los HP, el poder de voto e influencia en la blockchain es crucial para mi. Mi meta este año de 12000 HP esta a unas cuantas semanas de ser concretada, ya esta semana superamos el 25% de los 1000 HP necesarios para lograr los 12K. La semana pasada aunque estaba con los oficios de la casa mantuve la cantidad que en promedio genero cada semana: 143 HP. Tampoco quiero dejar de mencionar que hemos logrado también nuestro #HPUM es decir el logro por hacer power up diarios el resto del mes, ya con julio completamos los 7 meses del 2026 haciendo #HPUM y 19 meses consecutivos, desde que nos propusimos hacer power up todos los días!

Los gráficos a 7 días y 30 días de mis ingresos en HP indican la consistencia de nuestro actividad y compromiso. Viendo estos datos y proyectando los números en las próximas 4 semanas y siendo muy conservadores, al terminar agosto estaremos a solo 15% de alcanzar nuestra meta de los 12K de HP quizás podría ser antes ya que la semana pasada fue que empecé a activarme nuevamente con los snaps y los comentarios, así que continuaremos haciendo el registro semanalmente de nuestra actividad en Hive.

Ahora pasamos a la parte más complicada de mis metas, el HBD en ahorros. Es complicado porque a medida que baja el precio de Hive es menos la cantidad de HBD que podremos sumar de nuestras recompensas diarias, pero al menos esta semana a pesar del precio de un Hive a 0,042$, logramos generar 5 HBD. Es ciertamente difícil, pero ya nos planteamos esta meta cuando comenzó el año y ya teníamos dificultades, así que ahora solo nos queda seguir manteniendo el ritmo para sellar esta meta.

Ya que los intereses los cobramos la semana pasada, apenas tenemos generados 3.847 HBD y 3 semanas por delante para tener otros 20 HBD que sumar a nuestro valioso alijo. Si en esas 3 semanas al menos mantenemos la cantidad de HBD generados por semana estaríamos alcanzando los 2045 HBD, es un progreso lento pero la clave esta en la constancia y ver a cada HBD como un trabajador extra que te va a generar un 10% de APR.
