Greetings, citizens of Praetoria! Welcome to my 8th Golden Path report. Last week, we reported a drastic change in our journey through Praetoria: renting our first workers to improve production. We generally had no problem renting one or more black foil cards, maxed-out gold Chaos Legion cards, or gold Untamed cards to produce an average of up to 10,000 PP. The issue was that we were short on liquid Dec, and although Dec is certainly quite low, a maxed-out worker requires 10,000 Dec, which is almost $2.70! We then had to sell some of our stone production to get 20K in Dec and be able to activate 2 workers at the maximum level. Therefore, in this report we'll see if this risk we took was really worth it by evaluating the final resource production. Let's begin!

Bienvenidos a mi 8vo reporte de la Senda Dorada, la semana pasada habíamos reportado un cambio drástico en nuestro camino por Preatoria y se trataba de alquilar nuestros primeros trabajadores para mejorar la producción. En general no teníamos ningún problema con rentar una o más cartas de lámina negra, cartas doradas al máximo de Chaos Legion o Untamed doradas para que produjeran en promedio hasta 10000 pp. El detalle estaba en que estábamos secos en cuanto a Dec líquido, y aunque ciertamente el Dec esta bastante bajo un trabajador al máximo requiere 10K en Dec que son casi 2,7$! Tuvimos entonces que vender parte de nuestra producción de piedra para conseguir 20K en Dec y poder activar 2 trabajadores al máximo nivel, por eso en este reporte vamos a ver si este riesgo que tomamos valió realmente la pena evaluando la producción final de recursos. Comencemos!

The first thing we'll do is collect our EVP to open what would be our 9th Aurelius Chest. Currently, the price of the Electrofox card is around $14. If you want to buy one BCX, if it's gold it will cost you much more ($150). There's still a lot of interest and FOMO for this card with the Volt Event, but if I were lucky enough to get a gold foil of this card, I would actively use it in modern ranked. The utility of this card in lands and modern is so versatile that I highly doubt I'll sell it.

Lo primero que haremos será recoger nuestros EVP para abrir el que sería nuestro 9no cofre Aurelius, actualmente el precio de la carta Electrofox esta sobre los 14$ si quieres comprar 1 bcx si es dorada te costará mucho más (150$), hay mucho interés y FOMO todavía por esta carta con el Volt Event pero si llegara a tener la suerte de conseguir una lámina dorada de esta carta la usaría activamente en el ranked moderno, la utilidad de esta carta en lands y moderno es tan versátil que dudo mucho que la venda.

There are only 200 Aurelius chests left. I estimate that by mid-August we'll run out of these chests and move on to Hyper Chests. For now, we should take advantage of the remaining Aurelius chests since they have the best chance of yielding good rewards.

Well, we've already accumulated 11,000 ETN. Two weeks ago, we transferred 13,000 ETN to our wallet. Let's see how much ETN we can farm before the Aurelius Chests run out. In any case, we still have options to continue earning ETN with the remaining chests, of which there are still quite a few.

I was really looking forward to this harvest day because it was time to see the yield of the plot where I placed two hired workers: one producing rare black foil and the other producing gold foil at max Chaos Legion. Both generate around 20,000 PP in total, so we decided to lock them in one of my plots that produces stone. But before looking at them, the first thing we did was harvest the grain from our two grain plots: one in Bredaine where we only have two workers, and another in Hamford where we have five active workers and at least one active totem.

Esperaba con mucha entusiasmo este día de cosecha, porque era el momento de ver el rendimiento de la parcela donde coloqué 2 trabajadores alquilados uno de lámina negra rara y otro de lámina dorada al máximo Chaos Legion. Ambos generan unos 20000 PP en total por lo que decidimos bloquearlos en una de mis parcelas que genera piedra, pero antes de verlos, lo primero que hicimos fue cosechar los granos de nuestras 2 parcelas de granos: una en Bredaine donde solo tenemos trabajando 2 trabajadores y otra en Hamford donde tenemos 5 trabajadores activos y al menos 1 totem activo.

Now we move on to the production of our main resource, which is stone. After seeing how drastically the Dec value has fallen, I initially saw the advantage of renting certain cards to play in Modern. I not only recovered my investment but doubled or tripled what I spent on those rentals. So I reconsidered, and since I'm fairly self-sufficient with my own cards in Modern, I decided to invest my Dec points in workers for my plots in the Great Lowlands.

Pasamos ahora a la producción de nuestro recurso principal que es la piedra, después de ver como ha caído tan drásticamente el Dec, inicialmente vi la ventaja alquilando ciertas cartas para jugar en moderno y no solo recuperaba la inversión, sino que doblaba o triplicaba lo que invertí en esos alquileres. Así que repensé mejor las cosas y ya que soy bastante autosuficiente con mis propias cartas en moderno decidí entonces invertir mis Decs en trabajadores para mis parcelas en Great Lowlands.

The ideal plot for this pilot test was right where I have my Electrofox. I bought this plot exclusively for him so I could participate in the Volt Event. I won't lie, though; these common plots were incredibly cheap, and it even came with the building and the unstable totem. That was almost two months ago. During that time, I was saving up to buy my first Verico packs/cards and the 20,000 Decs needed to block those rented workers. In the end, I had no choice but to sell part of my stone reserve, about 320,000, and exchange it for 20,000 Decs.

La parcela ideal para hacer este ensayo piloto era justamente donde tengo a mi Electrofox, esta parcela la compre exclusivamente para el y así poder participar en el Volt Event, aunque no te mentiré estas parcelas comunes estaban a un precio inmejorable y además ya venía con el edificio y el totem inestable. Eso fue hace casi 2 meses, en ese tiempo estuve reuniendo para comprar mis primeros packs/cartas Verico y los 20K en Decs para bloquear esos trabajadores alquilados. Al final no tuve otra opción que vender parte de mi reserva de piedra, unos 320K y cambiarlos a 20000 Decs.

This way, we generated 9,057 units of raw stone, which is a significant difference compared to our previous production of only 1,320. We still have six days left with these two rented cards, so at the end of this week, we'll be harvesting another batch, and of course, we'll renew these two rentals before the season ends.

Así generamos 9057 unidades de piedra bruta que en comparación a como estábamos antes que solo producíamos 1320, la diferencia es muy significativa. Todavía nos quedan 6 días con estas 2 cartas alquiladas, así que al final de esta semana estaremos cosechando otro lote y por supuesto antes de que termine la temporada renovaremos estos 2 alquileres.

Next, we move on to our other two plots in the Great Lowlands: Bredaine and Oxborough. I haven't made any significant changes here because I've been focusing on the empty plots. The next one I'm thinking of improving is the grain farm, also in Bredaine, which has three card slots. I plan to do something similar: place a Verico card there to save on production costs and rent two Chaos Legion gold foil cards. There are several available for rent on the market, so the biggest challenge would be getting another 20,000 deca to activate these cards.

Luego pasamos a nuestras otras 2 parcelas en Great Lowlands: Bredaine y en Oxborough, aquí no he hecho cambios significativos porque me enfoqué en las parcelas que tengo vacías. La próxima que estoy pensando mejorar es la granja de granos que también está en Bredaine y tiene 3 espacios para cartas, pienso hacer algo similar, ubicar una carta verico para ahorrar costes de producción y alquilar 2 cartas de lámina dorada Chaos Legion, hay varias en alquiler en el mercado, así que el mayor reto sería conseguir otros 20K en decs para activar estas cartas.

With this harvest, we've already reached 507,000 stone. When we convert the stone to Dec, we're left with 475,000, meaning we're producing 30,000 stone weekly. If we project this production over time, I estimate that in a month and a half we'll be back above 700,000 stone. I hope that by then I'll have my second grain plot with all 5 workers active, so that all 5 plots will have all workers extracting resources.

Con esta recolección ya alcanzamos los 507K en piedra, cuando convertimos la piedra en Dec quedamos en 475K, es decir que semanalmente estamos produciendo 30K en piedra, por lo que si proyectamos esta producción en el tiempo, estimo que en mes y medio ya estaremos nuevamente sobre los 700K de piedra. Espero que ya para ese momento tenga mi segunda parcela de granos este con los 5 trabajadores activos y así tener las 5 parcelas con todos los trabajadores extrayendo recursos.
