Monomad: No connection

In my town, there’s no connection when the power goes out. It affects us young people, but for them, just sitting with no phone—selling on the corner or watching people pass by—is enough. The older women don’t need Facebook to hear the gossip; they do it the old-fashioned way. And all of it happens without any connection.
